An evening of live music on the banks of the Murray — Opera and Broadway hits and favourite popular songs under the open sky, with more acts to be announced.
One night a year, the Murray's banks at Thompsons Beach turn into an open-air stage — rugs on the grass, the river at your back, and Australia's finest voices out front.
Music on the Murray brings together opera, music theatre and Broadway hits alongside favourite popular songs and plenty of humour. Join us for a relaxed evening of world-class live entertainment in Cobram, with any surplus funds raised to be used by Rotary for the enhancement of important community causes and wellbeing. Bring a chair or a picnic rug, pack your own food and drink (no glass, please), or grab something from the vendors on-site — bring the whole family for a proper night out on the river.
Favourite highlights from Opera to Broadway including Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Westside Story, Chicago, Carmen, La Traviata, Turandot, Madam Butterfly, Lakme and all-time hit songs by Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Leonard Cohen and more … a spectacular and fun show for the whole family!
